I think I'll be choosing Froggles over Fox-thing and
Oshawott X BidoofBeanie for my starter, XDD.And yeah Im picking Froakie-Pokey because everyones going to pick Firefox, and
MeatspinChespin doesnt really look like its going to amount to much... heh. Watch me eat my words in a couple months >u<Slippy Toad wannabeFroggles because (a) there are sooo many tempting puns one can use on its name and (b) I like to have at least one Pokemon that makes me giggle or smile when they come out of that Pokeball, XDD. I tend to run my games with just two Pokemon on the team at any one time, so a good laugh is necessary to ward off the occasional frustration. And also, FLYING FROGS! Just imagine what it could evolve into - ANGEL FROG, GOOOOOO!As for the other two choices... well, Firefox will only make me think of dogfighting, and
ChestnutChespin doesn't look that crash-hot. Unless that beanie is actually a nuclear weapon of some description, I find it hard to believe that it's going to amount to much. That said, Chikorita wasn't much of a looker, so...To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of Gen V (not for the reasons most come up with, though - I found the controls to be too fiddly, having played HeartGold as my first game), and didn't buy B+W 2 - that said, I'll probably be a sucker for Gen VI, if only because it's got 3-D graphics and 3-D battles and dammit 3-D everything.
